Media player on your MacMini

How configure your MacMini (or another Mac) on a nice Media Player ?

I discussed yesterday with my colleague concerning possibility to convert my Old MacMini on a beautifull Media Player.

And he advised me to install Kodi’s Application.

Kodi is available as a native application for Android, Linux, Mac OS X, iOS, and Windows operating systems, running on most common processor architectures. A small overview of the features can be found on our about page. For each platform, we offer a stable and development release(s). For normal users we recommend installing the stable releases.

After a simple installation, Kodi proposes to scan all drives of you computer / MacOS and you can add your folder with your movies.

After managing the settings, you find a beautiful Media center (Free).
You can add Pictures or Music if you want.

You have a lot of plugin to add (as Youtube …).
In fact, this application can start in the beginning of your computer.
You can add a remote (I’m trying with the remote of my apple TV and it’s running).

If you want see more information let’s go to the official website
